April has been an amazing month, so far! Silas is branching out a little more every day and every day, we learn something new about his ADHD. We’re working to figure out how he handles things day to day and learning how to adapt when things fail for him. ADHD is a hard battle if […]
All I want for (insert holiday name) is a clean house…
Let me be first to admit, this image isn’t my house – though mine looks this way OFTEN with kids. I wish I had a Tidy House by Marie Kondo, but if I’m honest, about the only thing that SPARKS JOY for me lately is the sound of trash bags opening and dumping stuff into […]
Catching up!
Okay, so let’s just admit it. I’m super bad at making time for me – and this blog. But, ‘April 1 resolutions’ anyone? I mean, am I joking with myself? So, catching up! Right before Spring Break, the kids had a great week planned at school. It had been pretty chilly and I was a […]
Finding a Good Chair…
…is almost as hard as finding a good husband.
Kidding, honey. Maybe.
But, really. A good desk chair is something that is important if you’re going to be sitting in it all day – or if you work from home – or if you’re even on the computer for more than an hour at a time. A bad chair can make your back hurt, your neck hurt, and more.
Giving Thanks
Every year since our little guy was born, we’ve tried to take a vacation during the Thanksgiving holidays. The past two years have been a little different in that we decided to have Thanksgiving at the coast, instead of trying to go the day after. It helps with vacation time, but it also make the […]

School’s Almost Here!
School shopping is pretty much done, too. I’ve got to return a few things tomorrow and get hair cut, but otherwise, we’re good to go! This weekend, we will spend getting ready for school and getting things organized.
The world from above
I know. Flight is the safest way to travel. Do you know how many people have told me that? Doesn’t change it. Or help it. I even look at books, videos and such to try and help me overcome it.
Why I chose the iPhone X
I really can’t get past the simplicity of this camera and this new mode. The lighting adjustments, the depth of field, it’s all a beautiful thing – and it’s. on. a. phone.
Thirty-One Bags
I’ve been meaning to do this post for a while and talk about some bags I ordered from Julie Savage who is a Thirty-One bags consultant. Her website is fun and colorful and I kind of dream about this state of organization that these bags would allow me to have – if I could only order one of every. single. style.
